Leland Trice was featured in the most recent issue of Valuation magazine, which is published by the Appraisal Institute. The article discusses re-engineering the apprisal process. A copy of this article can be viewed here.

Leland Trice, SRA was selected to address the approximately 500 attendees of the annual Valuation Expo conference hosted by the Alterra Group each year in Las Vegas. Trice was a member of the Valuation Visionaries panel. The presentation specifically addressed how valuation services can be re-engineered to accommodate industry needs for enhanced products.

Leland Trice was awarded the MRICS designation by the Royal Institution of Charterer Surveyors (RICS). Trice is a Principal in Valuescape and manages the Eastern Region with an office based in Maryland. Trice holds a degree in Economics from the University of Maryland and has been a practicing appraiser since 1985.

The Trice Group, LLC has resumed its independent operations from its Salisbury, Maryland office location. Leland Trice, SRA, MRICS was a former Principal owner of Valuescape, LLC. As of January 31, 2009, Valuescape ceased processing valuation services under that corporate entity. The three primary Principal owners that founded Valuescape have unwound their respective companies.

In its commitment to helping shape the industry, the Appraisal Institute hosted the first-ever Collateral Matters Congress March 8-10, in Washington, D.C. At the event, over 75 appraisers and members of related professions brainstormed solutions to a variety of problems facing the industry today. Leland Trice of The Trice Group was among those selected to attend this invitation only event.
